The cheap Waitrose range is called "essential " and is good quality. I can't see the price of your lettuces growstuff because they are out of stock but for example the little gems are 90p in Waitrose and the iceberg 70p. Don't buy anything Duchy, it is expensive.

I have better things to do with my life than spend half a day on a bus visiting other stores. I really hate shopping and am annoyed that my routine has been changed. It'snot as though we're at war or anything.

Worth investigating other stores than Tesco ( They aren’t cheap at all) even if it means going into shops.Being double jabbed and going in at quiet times during the week.
Even my local Co-op is better value.

I know I'm not and never claimed I was. I'm concerned for all the people on a low income. I have investigated many other brands of cat food and ended up throwing most of them away.

I do occasionally pop into Lidl if I happen to be passing (about once every three months) and I like their nuts and seeds. Most of the food I buy is fresh or frozen (non-processed) and it won't keep for three months.

I hope it doesn't get any worse. It is going to be a hard winter for many of us. I think I'm going to tell my children that I'm only doing presents for the GC. I have 4 children, they have 4 partners and six children. Even small presents mount up.

Well, milk has already gone up from £1.09 (which is what it was for ages) to £1.15.

Greek yoghurt has gone up from £1 to £1.40.

I'm not in a panic because I'll cope somehow, but I am certainly pi$$ed off.

Other stores ( other than Tesco) are available! As is tuna, grated cheese ( protein) and leftovers of human food.There are plenty of cheaper cat foods too.

Oh yes? Not in this town, they're not. And, anyway, I have a delivery contract with Tesco and hardly ever go into a shop of any description.

There aren't any human food leftovers in this house - and most of them are veggie, which they won't touch.
