It’s been on Twitter, the original source is “somebody who knows Boris Johnson very well”

Carrie or Dom, perhaps?

He was always anti leaving but changed his colours to gain the prime ministership which just goes to show what a nasty piece of work he truly is about as genuine as a fake ten Bob note

Well I can’t do links but can you see in my op?It is taken from a post on twitter and the second paragraph is a copy and paste if that helps.

They will try and put a lid on it no doubt but I’m sure it is true, because he was instinctively a remainer but only chose Brexit in the gamble that he would get the Tory leadership.

Everyone knows that he was never a true Brexiteer, merely an opportunist.

Yep- do you have a link for that, please!

Blimey.
I’m not at all surprised that he thinks that, though.
Where did you read about this WW?

This is worth a thread of its own

Boris Johnson has admitted he “deeply regrets” going down the Brexit route according to sources close to the former Foreign Secretary. Matt Kelly, editor

Gosh if this is true, then I think that there is no doubt that all the crises we are seeing are, as we have argued, the result of Brexit and the abysmal prime minister who was so blinded by the thought of leadership he cared nothing for the country and its people.
