fairfraise that is my point too. Really not happy about it. I think the same thing could well happen here too in England. Politicians think it is their 'right' to manipulate to get their choice of result.
It has been discounted in England, they were persuaded by the very vocal minority, as in most things. Johnson is supposed to lead, not bow down to minority pressure. I personally would prefer a passport to enter restaurants etc. Compulsory in Scotland and many other countries, Germany, Netherlands etc.
