I spent six weeks travelling up and down the country, between the south coast and the north west, when my elderly father was ill and then died. I didn’t turn my back on him, nor would I ever. He was a good father.
I’ve also done similar with my elderly mother, who was certainly not a particularly good mother during any of her life, until she moved south. I now visit her regularly in her care home. It’s called family values.

Every one would have thought, oh how generous, and it would also have negated any future attempts on his part to badmouth her.
Instead she has chosen to estrange herself from him and her family, both sides, and now her calculated untruths and spite against anyone who crosses her, are being exposed.

Even if she was there for 10 years and he paid it all that's only $180,000.( when she went it would have been cheaper and it's only 6 years anyway) He has in the past claimed he paid college fees as well and that has been disproved. Her mother contributed, she had awards and she did work which was counted against her college fees.

Princess of Wales but Duchess of Cornwall.

Suppose it would have caused Diana fans to go on the attack ,
it was said when Charles is king Camilla will not take the correct title Queen Consort but Princess Consort, I hope this will not be so.

Well, I'm not sure that she officially is? She's certainly never referred to as this, but you could be right. I read, some time ago, admittedly that she was Camilla Cornwall, but it could have been incorrect.
