Afraid, he lacks any charisma, he will tell us to back Boris, who has told us correctly the scientific evidence, so there’s not much else he can say really. I will miss it

I support 100% what Alegrias says but you don't seem to notice that you are one of the ones taking partisan shots on various threads.
Johnson has got it right this time, it isn't a dead cat, it isn't getting ducks in rows or any of the animal phrases that are routinely used on here.
it was a pre recorded message that struck exactly the right tone, serious ( because it damn well could be!) saying what the scientists know so far and what we should be doing.
it's right to aim as high as can possibly be done in terms of booster jabs.
I fully expect Starmer to concur with Johnson's message, and for once, everybody who supports any and all political parties should stop any political sniping on this subject.It affects us all.

I'm going to assume that Starmer is going to tell us that for the good of the nation he'll be supporting the government and that this is the correct thing to do. And that he hopes that Labour supporters will get behind the national effort

My guess is that he’s going to urge people to get vaccinated and have boosters. Given that some of the Tories are rebelling, he will be responsible. That is surely the right thing to do. Don’t judge until you hear what he has to say.

I will say this for KS - he has asked his MPs to vote with the government whenever it has been a covid issue that is in the interests of the country. He has not played politics with the pandemic. Good for him.

But he does lack charisma, which sadly now is what politicians are judged on. Boris has committed a whole raft of acts that lack integrity, but still he hangs on.

Personally I think KS just needs to stand there and list them all in the H of C without comment.
