Apparently he disillusioned.

Oh well.

Frost understood Brexit completely and would clearly have triggered A16- it’s perfectly allowed for in the withdrawal agreement. Something happened to Boris. ?Carrie’s influence. Who knows. Brussels will be rubbing their hands with glee just waiting for some sappy Minister of BRINO to take Frost’s place.

This is far worse than Thursday’s by election defeat. At least there Boris only lost one MP and still had a 79 majority. Mind you he’s wasted this anyway stupid man. He’s gone soft. Net Zero will cost him dearly at the GE too.

Oh no‼️ Brexit as I voted for is b——-ed now. It’ll be Brexit Lite.

What a shame!

Thank heavens we have the strong and stable Tories in power. Things could be a complete shambles otherwise.

It isn’t just enormous, it is a disaster. We just seem to be falling deeper and deeper into a bottomless pit.

Urmstongran Sat 18-Dec-21 22:35:17

I’ve got a cuppa now & biscuits Gill57!

Northern Ireland’s former first minister Arlene Foster described Frost’s resignation as “enormous”.

Lay off the sherry Urmonstongran!

Boris is finished and it's all his own fault. I was a huge fan until he started losing the plot. Lord Frost has done a great job in holding the EU to account. Without his grasp of detail and negotiating stance I fear for Brexit now. I think he as undermined at every turn.

If he ever decides to publish his memoirs they will make very interesting reading.

paddyann54 Sat 18-Dec-21 22:14:00

Urmston you voted for 30,000 pigs to be culled and burned and for pork to be imported? Can you explain why ?Wouldn't it bebetter if we had the workers ( from Europe) to process this meat instead of farmers going out of business ?
I truly dont understand the mentality of the BREXITEER.

TopsyIrene06 Sat 18-Dec-21 21:55:10

Hetty - heartily agree.

Frosty the No Man.

Politicians were/ are never famed for their transparency but even I could see through this ploy in 2016 !

EllanVannin Sat 18-Dec-21 21:09:08

Well planned, I'd say.
They all got their 5 minutes of fame-----through reneging !
Brexit my eye. They knew what the public had wanted, Tsk.

Parsley3 Sat 18-Dec-21 21:04:25

Well, that's interesting. "Frosty", as someone here used to call him, was not a jolly, happy soul, after all.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 18-Dec-21 21:02:49

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve had enough of these right wing loons destroying our economy and health.

vegansrock Sat 18-Dec-21 20:56:34

The Brexit that was promised was never deliverable, particularly by some dimwit who couldn’t be bothered to listen.

Waterloosunset Sat 18-Dec-21 20:55:52

That’s because the brexit you voted for was based on lies from someone who has proved himself to be a liar.

Hetty58 Sat 18-Dec-21 20:36:48

Always best to leave before that s**t hits the fan!

Perhaps Frost can see what is happening to the s..t show of the protocol?

MayBee70 Sat 18-Dec-21 20:21:01

Just read it? But why? We hold all the cards….

Whitewavemark2 Sat 18-Dec-21 20:16:16
