Yes, Prof Chris Whitty and Prof Jonathan Van-Tam, who became household names during the Covid-19 pandemic, have been knighted in the New Year Honours list.

Agree. I, too, am very pleased that Chris Whitty has been recognised and given a Knighthood as well as his deputy, Professor Van-Tam. They are both very deserving of the honour and are decent & likeable men.

Bet he's been working the wards this Christmas again.
