Sad to read of Jack Dromey’s sudden death. I didn’t agree with his politics but did admire him.

It’s reported he died suddenly. Very sad for his loved ones

That was sudden wasn't it? Very sad for Harriet and his family.

I feel so sorry for Harriet Harman, losing her DH so suddenly like this and having to stay in the public eye as part of her job.

A sudden death like this leaves you reeling, at any time, but in her postion it must be so much more difficult.

I am very much a 'crossbencher' but Harriet Harman and jack Dromey are among the indivdiduals in the Labour Party I have always respected.

I agree with all the comments, regardless of one's political preferences, how very sad for his family and what a dreadful shock.

Very sad and such a shock for his family.

They met on the Grunwick picket line, all those years ago.

Very sorry to read about Jack Dromey and for Harriet Harman and children, I believe I read somewhere that there were a couple of fairly young grandchildren he was hoping to spend more time with. Sad those plans didn't come to fruition.

A good man -and like David Amess at the other end of the political spectrum, one for whom all sides had the greatest respect.

Heard on the radio today that he was a very kind person and loved by both sides of the political spectrum. He was a feminist apparently and helped Harriet in all her work. When she wanted to give up being an MP, he stopped her and told her how excellent she was. He always helped with their children too. RIP Jack.
