Labour MP Mr, Gardener has been wrapped over the knuckles for declaring donations of £30,000 from two trade unions, he blamed his office administration, awkward for him as apparently his office administrator is his wife.

He has also been implicated by MI5 as being in receipt of over £350,000 from Christine Lee’s Office. Christine Lee is a lawyer and allegedly a spy for the Chinese Government.

No not implicated by MI5. He was working with MI5.

I assume you mean for not declaring donations.

My next question is

Have the unions benefited from the donations similar to the Tory supporters?

No. He informed M15 right from the start. Every contact etc was recorded and given to M15

I will admit to being very confused about this.

He declared all the donations from this Chinese person didn't he? So what's he done wrong?

I didn't know about the £30k from Unions so I'm going googling...

Not only did he declare it, he also recorded everything that was said etc and sent toMI5
