The PM has cancelled visits / meetings, it does not necessarily mean he is not working from the No.10 flat. Unless someone from GN is a No.10 mole and can prove he is not working?
Oh, I'm sure he is 'working', as his definition of 'work' seems to be getting outside a few glasses of wine

Your thoughts?

There are thousands and thousands of folks still working from home across the U.K.
I am not sure he will still be PM by the May election’s, my money is still on Mr.Sunak (I am still firmly in the anyone but Mr.Gove camp)
No part of me wants him to hang on, because he’s fundamentally and embarrassingly dishonest, and there’s no mitigation that could change that fact. The Tories are in power for a while yet, so the least that is needed for the UK is somebody in charge who is honest. The best chance the Tories have of winning the next election would be to move from the far right to a more moderate right leader and cabinet, otherwise there is no chance because all the current cabinet are tarnished by association, the policies they have adopted are not popular, and the public won’t forget - particularly as there are doubtless more revelations to come.

Johnson’s isolating following a positive Coward-19 test.
Why on earth would you think that his children aren't vulnerable, rosie1959? Children are catching covid , being hospitalised and actually dying from it (not in large numbers, but it is happening). One of the prime sources of infection in adults is from their children who have caught covid in school. Parents are being threatened with prosecution for keeping their children off school if a household member tests positive. People are expected to still go to work even if they have a household member testing positive.
Stop defending the bastard.
I am not defending him just pointing out what the Covid recommendations are
He doesn’t have it so it’s either Carrie or his children so they can’t both isolate from their children can they
Can’t read the tweet link

*Brexit done! Really? Some people on here are living in a different universe*
See I genuinely don’t understand this.
Are we still in the EU?
Haven’t we left yet?
Can someone please explain.
There's Northern Ireland for a start ...
Brexit is far from "done".

Think of it like doing the Hokey Cokey, Kandinsky.
The Mail's story on Starmer? The sound that you hear is a barrel being scraped for "news" - any news to take the heat off the PM.
Some Times journalist said exactly the same the other day - or rather he said that all other parties would much prefer him still PM at the next GE.
MaizieD we don't know who if anybody in his family are positive It's very possible with omicron
Why would he isolate from his children they are not particularly vunerable and its possible it's one of them that has it
Thanks Kali2
costing dear
I hope he goes and takes his green agenda pushing wife with him. Yes I voted for him and the Tory party I'm glad we have left the EU and yes I know there are still things left to sort out. I want someone who believes in the UK and will stand up for our country to take his place not some wishy washy like May or Cameron someone like Margaret Thatcher. I would never vote Labour or Lib Dems but if some credible alternative party had a chance I might vote for them.
A) Brexit has not been fully implemented, partly at the request of the UK as we are not ready and it would cause too much damage and disruption. B) we are 'out' but we still ahve no idea how we are out!!! C) the UK is requesting that the Deal they negotatiated and called perfect and oven-ready and signed - is re-negotiated as it is a disaster. Frost tried- gave up, Truss is currently making a real mess of it.
So yes, we are officially out- but it is costing hear in 100s of ways - so technically and practically, not out at all. Wiht the clear risk that we might end up more out than we ever wanted too, No Deal, and possible not even on WTO- and totally isolated. The USA and EU have made that clear.

I agree notgran.
Also agree with Maizie, why is he isolating?♀️You are actually advised to limit your contacts if you have been in close contact with a positive case as per the Gov.uk website
I have done this myself this week which is probably as well as I tested positive with no symptoms if I had carried on with booked meetings I could have really passed it around
Current guidelines on self isolation from the NHS website:
start
When you do not need to self-isolate
If you live with or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, you will not need to self-isolate if any of the following apply:
you're fully vaccinated – this means 14 days have passed since your final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine
you're under 18 years old
you're taking part or have taken part in an approved COVID-19 vaccine trial
you're not able to get vaccinated for medical reasons
Even if you do not have symptoms, you're strongly advised to:
do daily rapid lateral flow tests (1 a day for 7 days), if you’re fully vaccinated, to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 - find out more about daily testing on GOV.UK
follow advice on how to avoid catching and spreading COVID-19
consider limiting contact with people who are at higher risk from COVID-19
end
It seems from this that the only people he needs to self isolate from are his young children. Bet he's not doing that...
Brexit done, really? And just look at the sh**storm that's left us with...
We just view things differently Bluebelle. That’s allowed.
Umstrongran you have a one track mind and one that helped to ruin the country which I find hard to forgive not much democracy when the whole campaign was built on lying and hoodwinking half the electorate who were easy to hoodwink
Not much good to show for going it alone and this is coming from one who didn’t vote to go in but realised the huge advantages over the years
I would guess a decision will be made about BJ staying or going after the local elections in May, they are nearly always a protest vote against central government, so how bad will it be?
Mummer
You ever been on a brewery visit? Didn't think so, you do stand in a room /pub mock up and get ONE free bottle, anything else you want you pay for!
Yes, and a couple of distilleries, vineyards etc.
Harvey's in Bristol was the worst - good thing we went by coach.
I don't drink usually.

I'm just not fussed. Que Sera sera !
I won't be visiting any polling station in the future. I gave up a couple of years ago because once upon a time, if your name wasn't crossed off the list someone would call and offer a lift. Because that doesn't now happen and nobody seems to care, neither do I---simple as that.
Huge difference between one bottle in the offices then home and all nighter with drunken carry on and sending someone with a suitcase to get another dozen bottles methinks! Like calling a toast a booze up! Stop trying to defend the indefensible
MerylStreep
This short video identifies him clearly.

It doesn't look like a visit to a brewery to me and there is another bottle of what looks like alcohol in the window too; behind him someone is standing eating buffet food.
Yes, probably a non-story but this was not taken on a brewery visit!
However, he must have been working, MerylStreep, because he's wearing his spectacles. ?
Nothing against Starmer, btw, and I may well vote for him next time unless the Lib Dems rally ?
