MissAdventure

My Mp just repeats, verbatim, whatever the current tory soundbite is.

As does mine! That is assuming she bothers to reply, my last email about visiting rights in care homes referred to the parties at Number 10 and all I got was an automatic reply acknowledging that I had sent one! I tried to find out when she hold constituency meetings but she doesn’t any more dispute to Covid!

She really is a waste of space, we hardly ever see her in the local area although I don’t think she plays a major role in government, at least I never see her name mentioned.

It doesn’t matter if your MP is an out and out Johnson supporter; every email saying he has to go has an impact. Also it’s important to support MP’s that speak out against him, because it takes courage to do so. I emailed Andrew Mitchell and Aaron Bell last week and thanked them. I won’t get a reply because they’re not my MP. And I make it clear that I don’t support their party (but another one did say, tongue in cheek, it’s a secret vote, no one will know if you vote for us y’know). Johnson is actually doing a Trump: he’s not going to go quietly. Even my Johnson supporting MP now just says it isn’t a good time to have a leadership vote instead of defending him.

I often write to my Labour MP, mainly on disability issues, his replies are starting to sound a bit defensive grin

MissAdventure mine too. He has been on the telly making right wally of himself. Can’t bear his smug emails telling me that he disagrees and that Boris should stay in No.10 for ‘stability’ ?‍?

My MP is Martin Docherty -Hughes ,he's quite vocal in the chamber and his opinion of the Chief Clown is well known, sadly the party he belongs to are disrespected, derided and disdained almost daily from the Tory benches, being told to F--- off home is the norm .
If it were up to me Id bring them all home because theres no way in hell we can make any difference in WM .Which is why we NEED Independence .

....... especially if she/he is a Tory and tell them very clearly that Boris Johnson is not a fit prime minister because he has no integrity, decency or honesty.

The more that these MPs start to squirm and worry that they will lose support in the next election the more likely they are to find the courage to do the right thing. Only if they know that their constituents are getting restive will they act.

I am in communication with my MP and he is beginning to sound very uncomfortable. The more he worries about the safety of his seat the better.
