DGD (14) has had it twice in three months. Each time without any symptoms. The problem is she hasn't yet been able to get a vaccination because you cannot have it within 90 days of having the illness and before she had COVID the first time, the vaccination had only just been extended to her age group and she was waiting to be called up for it.

Now she has to waot another 90 days.

I hope it’s mild and he gets better soon. Like my neighbours, both in their 70’s with underlying conditions but triple jabbed.

In a couple of weeks no one has to know. Restrictions will be over in a fortnight. We will all just stay home if we don’t feel well and rest up until feeling okay.

Yes, but it will all hinge on people being aware and sensible.
No struggling in to work feeling at death’s door, no sneezing or coughing your way into town on the bus or tube.
No “pushing through” at the expense of others. ?????

Yes and having the decency to wear a mask at least.

The trouble with work is that they will fully expect people to go to in.
They won't accept people staying off for days.

If you don’t get sick pay it is going to be very difficult to stay home.

Seems it’s going to circulate for some time. We have to learn to live with it now.

We read that supermarkets are the places one is most likely to catch Covid Teacheranne. Maybe that’s because most of us go in them, unlike schools, hospitals, public transport etc.

My granddaughter (9) has had it twice.

My sister has had Covid three times! She works in a supermarket so has been exposed throughout.

You can have Covid more than once

Skydancer Thu 10-Feb-22 13:03:59

Yes he has now had it twice. It's a bit disconcerting - does it mean it will be here constantly doing the rounds?

Anniebach Thu 10-Feb-22 13:01:37

I thought so

Didn't Prince Charles and Camilla have Covid at the beginning of the pandemic, and isolate themselves on the Balmoral Estate?

lemsip Thu 10-Feb-22 12:53:41

well of course

Aveline Thu 10-Feb-22 12:51:43

My DD tested positive for Covid after a shopping trip the day before. Could have caught it anywhere.
