The president was on the News Channel a few minutes ago. It may have been recorded, but I'm sure if he had been captured the newsreader would have mentioned it.

So why do you think she made it up?

This feels like a game being played in real time with the end game in world domination. Some have said Putin has become erratic and sometimes speaks nonsensical. I'm wondering if this seemingly sudden land grab be exacerbated by a rush to get it done before it's too late? By that I mean Putin may be pressed for time now due to some unforseen time limit for him to act? An illness? He is, in fact, approaching 70, a time when many of us become subject to an array of age related maladies, some debilitating, some degenerative and some terminal.
If this is so, he would care not about sanctions that affect long term. He cares more perhaps about going down in infamy before he goes out!

Russian influence in the U.K. , and particularly the Tory party has been going on for years - golden visas, buying dual citizenship, money laundering , I think for some the penny is dropping that Russian influence in the leave campaign was huge - donations are well known, but we know that the leave vote was what Putin was campaigning for - to weaken European alliances. Will the Tories refute those citizenships, return the donations? I think not.

U.K. has upped the anti regarding sanctions.

It was a tremendous difference watching Johnson announce the sanctions on Russia the backing from other parties appeared to be in total agreement rather than the infighting that usually goes on.

I think it’s obvious that there is going to be misinformation and propaganda from Russia.

I have so much respect for the thousands of Russian citizens who marched in protest against the invasion of Ukraine last night. The largest were in St. Petersburg and Prussia Square in Moscow. It’s being reported on ITV that hundreds were arrested.

These very brave folks risk life and limb when they stand against Vladimir Putin’s regime.
