The Met still not putting their words into actions

Shortly after Sarah Everard's murder a young Primary School teacher, Sabina Nessa was murdered in a London park on her way to meet friends. Her killer, Koci Selemaj, had driven to London to find a woman to murder. An act of premeditated violence towards an innocent woman. He is being sentenced today but refuses to attend court!!! Then pick him up and drag him if necessary to face the music. Why do the Met allow a scumbag like this to get his own way? Why respect his demands? And before anyone tells me it is his human rights, he lost those when he took Sabina's. angry sad

Doesn't it always seem that the perpetrator has more rights that the victim, doesn't seem fair, like you say they should be made to face the consequences of their actions.

He'll still get sentenced. Maybe he'll get a bit longer for his refusal to attend. Not sure if the law works like that but it seems like a good idea to me.

You can overrule someone's rights if its proven to be in their best interests.

Best to make him go to court and face up to what he has done, in case he's tempted to do it again, and causes his little self more problems.

I agree, he should have to face the court and her family.

The problems in the Met are so ingrained and widespread it will take a long time if ever to bring them up to an acceptable standard. I haven't heard who is taking over from Cressida Dick, has anyone else heard ?
