United union has a slight misunderstanding with the tax authorities

An employee from the Unite union is being investigated by police as part of an inquiry into allegations of bribery, fraud and money laundering.

The trade union confirmed that officers searched an unnamed employee's office at its Holborn headquarters under warrant on Wednesday.

This case it will, of course, all have a innocent explanation. No Union member especially of a union so closely connected to the Labour Party could possibly behave in such a terrible way. The people involved must all be closet members of the Conservative Party.

Police said that "a number of suspects will be interviewed in due course", and that addresses were in the South Wales, Metropolitan, Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, Dyfed Powys and Northamptonshire police force areas.

Monica This was just a bad example if you were trying to demonstrate that Labour voters are sheep who would defend the party regardless, as it’s been known about and condemned by the party leadership for ages anyway.
For the record, I never have and wouldn’t defend deceit or criminal behaviour by any politician, that’s why it’s hard to keep cool sometimes on those threads where people don’t take the time and effort to find out the facts before they do defend reprehensible behaviour .

The unions in Glasgow helped the Labour council fight AGAINST equal pay for women employees...for 10 years. It cost them millions of pounds and here I was believing unions were supposed to fight for the workers
