Putin - cancer surgery

Those speculating a while back as to whether Putin was ill were right by the sound of it.

The New York Times is reporting that he is going in for surgery and he is meanwhile transferring power to an ex FSB bod.

I thought you were all wrong! Just shows what I know?.

My preferred outcome would be a trial at the Hague, but I don't see that happening. If in the interim, he gets some incurable disease that kills him slowly, well that would be ok too.

I don't have any sympathy for him at all AGAA4. If he is ill I hope he dies in pain. Or else, that somebody shoots him.

It's a terrible thing to think, I know. But it's true.

That is terrible. I don’t wish pain on anyone. It’s primitive revenge.

What?????? You cannot be serious. Have you been watching the news? People like Hitler and Putin are beyond sympathy, they just need to be eliminated before they do even more damage.

I don’t feel any sympathy for him, obviously, but I don’t believe we should sink to his level. Eliminate him by a quick gunshot by all means, but no need to make anyone, however bad, suffer more than necessary because they made people suffer. “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth makes the whole world blind”.

I seem to remember Rudolf Hess was Hitlers deputy. He was nasty too. Not sure I care to speculate about Putins deputy.

Count me in for a contribution biglouis. The word ‘evil’ doesn’t begin to describe him or a few others I could name.

Pepper59 Mon 02-May-22 17:37:38

If the stories about his health are from newspapers here, especially certain newspapers. I'd take this with a large pinch of salt.

If anone knows an expert assassin I will gladly contribute a few pounds to their "expenses".

Sometimes I don't remember what I say on GN from one day to the next, but a few months back I remember writing that Putin was likely to be on corticosteroids for cancer or similar. A relative who is a neurosurgeon, and a former Foreign Secretary who had met Putin was right in his diagnosis that almost certainly the man wasn't going mad or senile but was ill. Something to do with his skin and puffy face.
How would anyone find out that he will be having surgery though?

I wondered if he had a body double as he does look so puffy and wrinkle-free compared to what he was like.
That could be due to the use of steroids, of course.

Heard about it before now on many a news channel.

Putin has no qualms about inflicting pain and death on thousands of innocent people even to the point of using nuclear weapons if he has a mind too.

We are not talking about a normal human being. This man is subhuman and deserves to suffer greatly, preferably to die. The only solution to stop this monster holding the world to ransom!

MayBee70 Mon 02-May-22 16:31:59

I can’t say what I’m thinking as it’s bad karma….

Wishful thinking.
He has been suffering for a while now.

volver Mon 02-May-22 16:22:08

I understand Grandma70s. But I want the sad little f*** to suffer the way he's made millions of others suffer. No sympathy at all. This is not like me.

AGAA4 Mon 02-May-22 16:21:57

Could he be dead already? The Russians may keep that quiet in the middle of a war.

Grandma70s Mon 02-May-22 16:20:29

It’s not terrible to want him gone, just to hope he dies in pain.

volver Mon 02-May-22 16:20:15

Yep.

I would post pictures of dead babies, but we've all seen them.

Kalu Mon 02-May-22 16:20:03

I too am hoping the surgery goes wrong and this monster is eliminated. Brain surgery would be the ideal opportunity, one slip with a scalpel……

Why is it terrible to want him gone? This individual is responsible for untold suffering. He has his hand on the nuclear button and is unlikely to accept any kind of defeat. He may be the Anti Christ (those who know their Bibles will know what I'm talking about). He certainly fits the bill and has the ability to bring about Armageddon.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 02-May-22 16:14:03

I guess that the Russians will try to keep a lid on it for as long as possible, but almost impossible I would have thought if our intelligence service is up to scratch. - hopefully.

Or maybe mawthemerrier has the ideal solution.

Nanny27 Mon 02-May-22 16:07:53

Just hoping his replacement isn’t the monster that he has been reported to be.
