Put the blame where it lies. Deliberate underfunding to make it unfit for purpose so they can sell it off.

BTW it wasn't just Oxford University. A number of other universities (funded by the government) contributed to the knowledge base which resulted in the vaccine, Unfortunately, that funding is under threat now.

Pharmaceutical companies do make money - of course they do - but research costs a fortune. How many of these companies receive UK Government funding? Few.
Yes, they have to recoup costs which enables them to carry on researching new medicines.

A drug deemed too expensive per patient for NHS use will not be approved by NICE.

The NHS isn't underfunded. The people on the front line are not well paid. The management are very well paid , some earn more than Boris as the PM. Several levels of NHS management need to be removed .

GP appointments are a problem because the GP service is underfunded and the government wants to abolish the current system and have it delivered by private corporate providers. Nobody needs to be intelligent to understand that.

How do you work out that it isn't underfunded? Some facts might help your argument rather than repeating soundbites. How do you explain that countries such as Germany and France spend much more per head on healthcare - and they're still way behind the US?

And get rid of all translators. That would either make the health tourists go somewhere else, learn English or make sure they are accompanied by someone who does speak English. In France & Spain they don't pander to such nonsense as having every piece of health information in 15 languages.. we are just bonkers.

I came up with this
