Remember Boris has survived other attempts to take him down. Gove stabbed him in the back and he bounced back. He rode out many storms when he was Mayor of London. He knows about today's news being tomorrow's chip paper.

We did think he is trying hard to convince himself and consequently us but repeating something over and over again does not make it the truth.

He's narcissistic, but I don't believe he's deluded. He's got away with outrageous behaviour and lies so far - why wouldn't it continue? There are still people who support him.

And so the lies go on ..... BJ is telling us that this is a "convincing victory."

He knows that this is a lie; he knows that we know it is a lie, but on he goes ......... is he deluded?

Let us hope that the bye-elections will finally kill him off.

I do wish that the BBC would stop the habit of broadcasting all the news from outside locations such as this evening's broadcast from outside No 10.

What is wrong with having a political reporter outside No 10 with this particular news story, then returning to Huw Edwards in the studio for the rest of the news?

Instead we hear all the background noise from 9ther broadcasters, protestors yelling, booing and even howling, music like a pop concert .......
It's distracting.

40% of the party have no faith in their leader, the public boo him in the street and his approval ratings are scathing. Only 2 of Scotland's 59 MPs support him.

More appalling behaviour, lost by-elections and policies which alienate the party faithful are sure to follow.

This just buys Johnson more time to lose more Tory votes. MPs who voted for him now own all his future behaviour.

Given that my MP led his party leadership campaign, it is doubly frustrating.
