I don't know. Some pundits think he will go nuclear, but if Tory MPs go ahead with their threatened "vote strike" where they won't support any bills, the country will grind to a halt anyway.

I've just emailed my views to my MP. She has been a supporter of BJ and when I wrote to her before (once), she replied saying she did not want any further contact on this subject! I don't suppose who votes against him will be made public but I think we will know if she still supports him.

It's going to be fascinating. Is it known (I have looked but didn't spot it) exactly how many letters have been received? I know the minimum required has been reached but curious to know how many more letters than that, if any, have been received.

It is astounding really. 2 years ago he won a huge majority with a large level of goodwill thrown in.

He has squandered the lot on vanity and narcissistic behaviour, that has cost this country very dear indeed.

You must ask yourself the question whether those Tory MPs who voted for him as leader did so knowing full well his serious personality disorder and where it might end, but nevertheless put winning above the country’s welfare.

I have written to my MP but not really sure what he will do. He's a senior member and I don't agree with him on anything. Also in a safe seat. I suspect that he will do what's best for him, which is probably supporting the status quo. I think that Johnson will win, but I don't think that he will resign. He probably wouldn't resign if he lost!

If they don’t vote to get rid of him the Conservatives will be annihilated at the next general election.

After watching various new items this morning it seems that the consensus is he will survive the vote but be wounded, probably mortally.

I predict he will win the vote but not by as many votes as he assumed! The vote is secret. He will be wounded but will stumble on, refusing to resign and telling all and sundry that he has a job to do. But he doesn’t actually do his job, does he.?

I fear he will win, but it could be the beginning of the end for him.

God imagine tomorrow x all the cabinet will be wheeled out telling us to put everything behind us and they have a job to do and they are all rallying behind Johnson, blah, blah, blah.

But let them continue to make fools of themselves, the British public are no longer prepared to believe anything.

Do you really think that, after 2 years of getting very little done and the massive offence of partygate (which, however much people would have liked him to be unpopular for more worthy reasons, is the one that has really upset nearly everyone) he could possibly 'charm' his way back into the voters' good books?
