But the trouble is it isn’t.

It has gone totally tits up but not being reported, although Smogg did have the grace to say that we should have stayed in the single market.

The only part of the U.K. that is doing well is NI and they are still in the EU.

Today is 6 years since the Brexit vote and not only is there any discernible benefit, but in fact we are going rapidly backwards.

What is this "dishonest" Lib Dem - Labour pact that Suella Braverman is talking about on BBC News? The interviewer did not ask her to elaborate. Both parties fielded candidates in yesterday's by-elections. Am I missing something?

But, to clarify, both parties DID stand candidates, in the respective areas.. They just didn't campaign very hard.

I think that if another couple of cabinet ministers have the cajones to resign it will
be the beginning of the end of Mr.Johnson’s leadership.

I honestly don't know why they are clinging on to a sinking ship. Perhaps they think one or two of the alternatives could be even worse!

I think with some issues, (not all about this one), the minority voices say they feel "bullied*.

Dishonest spin?

Perhaps with making it compulsory for all tory voters to vote in every election (seeCaravanserai's earlier post), Johnson will introduce legislation to make it compulsory to declare what party you support when you register to vote and your vote is nullified if you vote for another party.

How anyone in the tory cabinet can accuse others of dishonesty and not be hit by the heavenly bucket of excrement is beyond me...

Well let's face it, the majority of Tory MPs at the moment don't seem to recognise genuine dishonesty when it's right under their nose, so we shouldn't be too surprised at Braverman's ignorance. Private education mustn't be all it's cracked up to be!

The voting at both elections was a protest about the behavior of the Tory MPs there are 56 who have sex related allegations against them, prominently both former MPs. In addition to that the Partygate fiasco showing that even the cabinet think they are above the rule of law and decency.

Rural Devon with a former 24000 Tory majority stayed at home they could not bring themselves to condone what the Tory party has become under Johnson. This is not mid term blues it is the core conservatives saying go.

They probably don't read many if any at all. The following week my Conservative MP was sending people around doing leaflet drops for him! I tore up the leaflet and gave it back to the party member.
