Who’s next?

MaizieD Tue 05-Jul-22 20:07:50

And another PPS, Saqib Bhatti, PPS to Sajid Javid.

Will we wake up to a PM without a Cabinet tomorrow? How easy is it to peel wallpaper worth £840 a roll off the wall when you vacate the flat?

Devorgilla Tue 05-Jul-22 20:02:53

Grammaretto, not quite champagne but absolutely had to open a bottle of wine tonight. Keeping the champers on ice for when they get kicked out at next election. I haven't stopped laughing yet. Addicted to wall to wall news at the moment.

MaizieD Tue 05-Jul-22 19:58:35

Not quite so exciting, but Jonathon Gullis has gone. PPS to Sec. of State for Ireland

I predict another visit to Ukraine, the slimy toad has no shame and will do anything to save his own skin

Anniebach

It’s all settled, Boris has said ‘sorry’

??? ?

Sorry for what?

Sorry for not resigning himself?

Chocolatelovinggran Tue 05-Jul-22 19:47:38

Who is left to take up a cabinet post? Maybe we should revisit the Youth Training Scheme? YTS chancellor/ home secretary? - couldn't be any worse than BJ's mates.

Aveline Tue 05-Jul-22 19:47:29

Surely the game's up for Boris! I can just imagine the panicky meetings going on as well as the sub plot meetings. One day it'll be interesting to hear about it but it'll probably be restricted access for years.
Will there be a night of the long knives?!

Chewbacca ...
Possibly do a better job aswell smile

Daisymae Tue 05-Jul-22 19:45:33

What a terrible mess. The Conservative party has so much to answer for.

Madgran77 Tue 05-Jul-22 19:45:00

Chewbacca

Meet your new prime minister.....

Possibly flanked by the new Chancellor and the new Health Secretary (oh sorry are those just shoe scrapers either side of the PM?)

Chewbacca Tue 05-Jul-22 19:40:31

Meet your new prime minister.....

Oldbat1 Tue 05-Jul-22 19:33:24

Two gone in the hope they will stand a chance at PM when BJ gets pushed. Interesting to see what slimy toady Gove does. Patel Truss Coffey Dorries - all the nodding donkeys still supporting for now. The whole cabinet are surely complicit. At last some folk with a conscience.

CvD66 Tue 05-Jul-22 19:32:50

It feels like a game of Jenga as more and more pieces fall! About blxxxy time too. Far too many scandals merely accepted. Where is British decency? We have been laughed at internationally ever since BJ was made Firesign Secretary. Sadly none of the current cabinet are in any way suitable for PM. Let’s just hope this mess comes to an end soon.

tickingbird Tue 05-Jul-22 19:21:51

They should have never elected him leader in the first place. Regardless of his faults he just isn’t a leader.

M0nica Tue 05-Jul-22 19:18:01

beautful you will be waiting forever, if you are waiting for Boris to realise, himself, that he should resign.

He is going to resign, but it will need at least dozen knives in his back before he faces up to the inevitable.

vegansrock Tue 05-Jul-22 19:17:35

The nodding dog dimwits, Dorties, Schapps et al, who would never get another job under any half decent leader, will cling on.

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 05-Jul-22 19:17:12

OH and I were flicking between the tennis and the Beeb. Love it. But where’s Urms when we need her?

Iam64 Tue 05-Jul-22 19:16:35

Reece Smug is a truly unpleasant, patronising, slippery individual

Parsley3 Tue 05-Jul-22 19:14:45

We should start a book on what excuse the PM will find for absenting himself from parliament tomorrow. He has used a family member with Covid and an urgent trip to Ukraine so what next? A note from his dad?
Please excuse Boris from answering questions today. He has a gippy tummy.

grannysyb Tue 05-Jul-22 19:14:32

Liz Truss still supporting him, always thought that she was a bit thick!

grumppa Tue 05-Jul-22 19:14:15

That's because JRM wants to be the next Prime Minister himself.

Grannmarie Tue 05-Jul-22 19:13:09

I hope this is the beginning of the end...long overdue.

JRM is on Channel 4 News just now supporting Boris...

MayBee70 Tue 05-Jul-22 19:11:53

JRM says he has no desire to serve another Prime Minister. I’ll hold him to that!

MissAdventure Tue 05-Jul-22 19:11:04

It's great when the rubbish puts itself out.
