You beat me to it Granny, to be fair it's hard to keep up grin

Grannynannywanny Thu 07-Jul-22 09:01:57

Oh to be a fly on the wall in no 10 watching the headless chickens. At this rate it’ll just be Boris and the adoring Nadine left by this afternoon.

Galaxy Thu 07-Jul-22 09:02:38

I dont want that image in my head .

There’s definitely something going on with that pair…

A bit cheeky for ministers to call for his resignation but stay in post themselves, as though they're indispensable!

Whitewavemark2 Thu 07-Jul-22 09:07:57

What I find astounding is the amount of Tories who have suddenly found integrity!

Grannynannywanny Thu 07-Jul-22 09:10:09

BBC now saying he’s about to resign!

maddyone Thu 07-Jul-22 09:33:49

Just seen that Grannynannywanny. I’m going out today, so can’t be glued to the television. What a nuisance!

Some eg Patel aren’t allowed by MI5 to resign.

MayBee70 Thu 07-Jul-22 10:12:10

Not that I’m saying Patel has any integrity!

Why (Grantanow) do you call Boris the "most disgraceful occupant of number 10 in my lifetime". ? You should expand on this remark, it's very easy to make sweeping statements which make you sound clever. Nobody who is so much in the public eye with everyone watching and nowhere to hide will ever be good enough. You cannot please everyone and I get sick of people saying "they should have done this or they should have done that". I'm not saying he's perfect but nor am I (or you).

Galaxy Thu 07-Jul-22 11:54:23

Did Cameron behave in this way, did May behave in this way (I am a labour voter) no one is asking for perfection just someone who isnt morally bankrupt.

Well, for a start I don’t remember a PM entering No 10 with his mistress in tow after leaving his sick wife and family. The mistress that he tried to get a £100,000 a year job so that they could conduct their affair more easily. And that is one of his more minor indiscretions.

Chewbacca Thu 07-Jul-22 13:03:52

Should we make a list of his lies/pecadillos/indiscretions? We'll have to be quick, we've only got 680 posts left on this thread.

I don’t suppose the smell of money would have anything to do with these resigning would it ? As they all stand to get £420k in severance pay not a bad little earner. Always lining there pockets !….. there all as bad as each other …

Does it matter, when you are that "high up" if you are sacked, or resign?
Is it a strategic move to ensure they can just side step into a well paid role?
Wasn't boris sacked from his last job/role/position?

"Closing the gate after the horse has bolted", comes to mind. The only problem now is do we have a viable alternative, and "No", we don't. Even though neither can get anywhere, I'm sorely tempted to vote for Richard Tice's mob, or Laurence Fox if there is a GE. I would want to vote but for who?

varian Sat 09-Jul-22 17:23:53

Surely the Richard Tice/ Nigel Farge mob have done enough damage already?

varian Sat 09-Jul-22 17:24:36

Putin is already laughing
