Each candidate for the Conservative Party Leadership is laying out a personal manifesto.

We are not about to have a General Election. The numbers voting to decide one or other complete change in Government direction will be a minuscule proportion of the electorate.

They should be saying why they are good stewards of the manifesto voted on in 2019. The choice, now offered, is between the different small political parties that make up the Conservative Coalition based on each differing manifesto. There has been no noticeable comment on how to achieve Leveling up, for instance. That was one pillar of their manifesto on which they won the election.

I knew the Tories were at odds with one another. However, they no longer seem to stand for the joint manifesto that got them into government.
