I really enjoyed his presenting style, he always seemed fair to whoever he was interviewing.

He has been battling cancer for many years- maybe it caught up with him? He appeared to be a lovely man on and off TV.

Yes, just heard on the radio. Bill Turnbull was a very good presenter on bbc breakfast.
