Definitely LibDem.

We have been unrepresented since April when our disgraced former Tory MP lost the Tory whip because of his behavour (drugs, sex, corruption) but has not had the decency to resign.

Since then constituents have been getting help from the prospective LibDem candidate, who is a popular and effective local councillor but is now also doing unpaid work which should be done by an MP.

We've got one of those JaneJudge, so useless as to be damaging. He gets in by a huge majority every time and I boggle at why people vote for him. I'm hoping for some kind of Tiverton &Honiton experience here.

I agree Lathyrus they clearly need to spread the message far and wide that they have policies which will benefit the population at large.

They will spread the message. There were other things to do after the last disastrous election. Remember most people are not as interested in politics as those on these threads.

I will be very interested to see how KS deals with Truss in PMQs.

Labour but we have the worst conservative MP in the country and they always win by a massive majority (why ffs why would you keep voting for someone who does NOTHING for you)

This seat is Tory (not on account of my vote, I hasten to add) and the only realistic challenger is the SNP, who have had it before. I'll vote SNP, but as BlueBelle so nicely put it, I would vote for a sausage roll if it gets rid of the Tories.

The pity of it is, the sausage roll would have my vote too?

I voted for labour under Tony Blair. Since the demise of Blair and Brown I have reverted to voting Conservative and expect to do so again as things currently stand, but we don’t yet know what any of the parties’ manifestos will look like, nor which personalities would be likely to form another government.

I vote for our local bloke who happens to be liberal ( conservative). He is the only one who actually does anything, the opposition has such a low profile he is horizontal. If we got a good Labour person I would vote for them. Basically I don’t think a lot of any of them.

I strongly disagree that Labour doesn’t seem to have any positive strategy for government either. For example Labour has a costed plan to deal with the energy crisis. More importantly they have the political will to help the ordinary person in the street which is more than can be said for the Conservative party.

Yes, that might be true but they’re not getting it over to most people. For me, for most people I talk to, they hardly exist. If you ask, what are Labour policies, ordinary people don’t know.

That’s what I mean about too internally focused. Solid Labour supporters might know and believe they are great policies. But Labour already has those votes. It’s the other votes like mine they need.

I live in a Tory stronghold too and I don't think there's much chance of my MP losing, although goodness why - she's useless. It would depend who the alternative candidates are. Neither Labour nor LibDem will spend much on fighting the seat. I would probably vote LibDem, as I have in nearly every election since I was 18.

I'm in. red wall, previously rock solid Labour, constituency with a tory MP with a small majority.
Not much point in voting anything else.

I would be another tactical voter; once we understand our new constituency. I can only imagine it will be even more prone to Tory than the one I am in currently, as it will be more rural than it was previously. I don't think farmers are that happy with the government. I would guess, if they are going to swing, it would be to the LDs.

It will be a toss-up between LDs and Greens. I would rather vote LD but certainly would vote Green if needed.

I would vote tactically, depending on my Constituency. It is absolutely primordial that we ensure we get the Cons out. In my Constituency, there is not chance that Labour would win, but a real possibility that Kib Dems will- so I'll vote Lib Dem.
