I want to vote Labour, but I will vote for the party most likely to beat the Tories in my area.
I strongly disagree that Labour doesn’t seem to have any positive strategy for government either. For example Labour has a costed plan to deal with the energy crisis. More importantly they have the political will to help the ordinary person in the street which is more than can be said for the Conservative party.
Yes, that might be true but they’re not getting it over to most people. For me, for most people I talk to, they hardly exist. If you ask, what are Labour policies, ordinary people don’t know.
That’s what I mean about too internally focused. Solid Labour supporters might know and believe they are great policies. But Labour already has those votes. It’s the other votes like mine they need.
