He's not out PM anymore get over it and move on.
He's likened himself to Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus.
And he has a farm too.

My DH is registered for healthcare in France where he lives and his vaccinations occurred a few months after mine, despite us being of similar age.
Coincidentally, following my comment on this thread earlier today, DH (aged 73) just received a phone call offering him his fourth booster on the 16th September. I'm under the NHS and have heard nothing. I'm 72.I turned down my 4th booster in August, I am 68
Yes, I had a letter inviting me for my 4th vaccine (2nd booster for me) this month at the GP surgery (UK).
Reading some of the comments above I'm beginning to think that politics and current affairs should be taught in schools. The lack of knowledge portrayed by some is appalling I think.
Quite frankly I think that those who do have even a basic understanding a banging their heads against a brick wall. And what for. No one's going to change their mind and Johnson will be back - unless the Standards Committee finds him guilty of misleading Parliament.
Did you by any chance watch the video in the link?
He won't come back do you think the Tory party are going to put Boris forward if there is a general election I don't think so. As for Suella Braverman I like her I hope she can stop the dinghies and the Albanian gangs but I won't hold my breath.

Isn't the whole point of this thread that he has not really gone, and probably intends to come back, like Trump.
As for Suela Braverman, here is the most excruciating interview ever

Oh well Liz Truss has done some good Priti Patel has gone!! Mind I'd be very worried if I was Liz, PP is probably plotting to Bring Back Boris (has a ring to it!)
But it's widely thought that she'll be replaced by Suella Braverman. I can't see that as an improvement.
Has she given us THAT list yet? Oh no, she has not!
Will Truss only appoint ERG members to her Cabinet (the reason they appointed her as their puppet).
Who is going to pay all the debts? Liz Truss is inheriting a humongous catalogue of his terrible and massively expensive mistakes (and that is just for the money part!).
He's not out PM anymore get over it and move on.

Of course the rest of Europe were vaccinated but surely it was a time scale thing. Boris broke away from Europe to set up our own R & D for a vaccine and we started the vaccine programme a lot earlier no doubt saving lives. Keir wanted us to join the European effort. Its amazing how people easily forget about Covid and the furlough support given out The country would have been in a totally different position financially without a pandemic
By breaking away from joint EU price discussions, he has forced the UK to pay a lot more for the vaccines. Not all figures are available, as suppliers did a deal with EU and contracted them into no disclosure. But it goes in billions- billions of unnecessary debt for the UK (never mind the PPE and other debacles!).
For instance, the UK paid £25 approx for each Moderna dose, wherease the EU, as a join and much bigger buyer, paid £13. About the same for Pfizer. For the AstraZ vaccine, the UK paid 2.17 dose and the EU 1.56. Multiply that by the number of vaccinations, and the sum is massive. The EU caught up very quickly with vaccinations, were stricter with restrictions and had quite a lot fewer deaths per 100000.
So Johnson could have bargained as part of EU, got a much lower price and saved huge sums of money, and with more careful earlier restricitions and not sending elderly people back to Nursing homes without testing- saved many more lives too.
Other countries suffered the debilitating effect and cost of the pandemic, and supported workers- but NONE of them are in this mess. They are also very much affected by the war in Ukraine in many ways.
He’ll just keep spouting all the lies he always did, so often that more people will believe him. Here’s the Fact Check.

I read the Daily Mail!
I find it entertaining fluff.
I don’t rely upon it to decide my political (or otherwise opinions) for me, or use it as an echo chamber.
DH just bought MoS and Monday's Mail this week.
I want to read Sue Barker's story ?
I can't watch Question of Sport any more with Paddy McGinty, liked how Sue Barker presented it.
Oh, yes, we buy the Saturday one just for the TV listings and Monty Don.
I expect I'm persona non grata on GN now.
Back to the topic, sorry and I will go away and read about Sue and Cliff.
Yes, BOB the TV listings magazines are as good as the Radio Times
I read it on a Saturday as I like the TV magazine that goes with it it’s very easy reading and yes it does criticise Johnson but it also supports him. I take it’ opinions and findings with a pinch of salt
Maybe people are reading it online to save money, although the online version is different.

The Mails circulation is plummeting.
Yet again a discussion, a differing of opinions, descends into snide comments about the Daily Mail and those who may or may not read it.
We all know by now that the sanctimonious Guardian is the Bible on here but the fact is, like it or not, the Mail is Britain’s top selling daily newspaper.
I’ve always felt the criticism is particularly unfounded as it has certainly not been afraid to criticise the government, to hold it to account on many occasions.

Did Ruthie say she read the Mail? I obviously missed that. A lot of Conservative voters do read the broadsheets. I’m one of them.
If she read a broadsheet or two she might have a slightly different opinion.
I know exactly what he’s up to now.
After his unbelievably self aggrandising, boastful leaving speech today; I’ve realised that he’s absolutely cracked it.
It’s as if Truss is his minion; that actually being PM is beneath him (something that I suspect that he’s always thought).
He’s going to be Prime Minister at Large.
All the praise and kudos; with zero responsibility or accountability.
He is going to swan around the world stage, like Blair did, and make huge sackfuls of dosh.
We really are shackled to him.
It’s Boris’s world and we’re just living in it.
