Nothing can happen to the Queen! She’s immortal, isn’t she?

I think so to Annie

I quite agree about ‘inevitability’, but if I’d opened the thread with that, I doubt that it would have gone down well at all.

We are being prepared for the announcement

She shouldn’t have had to meet up with Truss and Johnson the other day. I know I keep banging on about this but the government of this country needs a massive shake up. It is a worry though. I know that, politically I should be anti royal but I have a great fondness for ( most of) them.

She does look frail and even smaller. Her commitment to her role, to serving the public is remarkable.

You said what I was going to say Pittcity.

My dad was as fit as a fiddle all his life, but he met his maker aged 96. It is all very 'normal' - Monarch or not.

Not so much worrying as sadly inevitable due to the Queens age and failing physical health.

I'd feel ill if I'd had to smile nicely at Boris and Liz T yesterday!!!!

Seriously though. She's 96 and has the best medical care....but the worst is inevitable.sad

It sounds worrying, doesn’t it?
