That’s true. But, having said that, going back to pre history people have felt the need to creat art so it is an important part of what makes humans human.

No I wouldn’t Grannypiper. I think the time has come to leave them stuck to the wall. Supply them with water, but protect them from public attack or support. If they’re making a meaningful protest, we should leave them there doing it. Presumably they’ve made provision to unbind themselves, so let them do it, on video.

As that painting is one of the true joys of my life if I had been near them I would have attacked them with a vigour that only an eighty one year old can supply. I would have been happy to stand in court on whatever charge they might bring.

It’s a pity that it wasn’t Campbell’s, for a Warhol / Pollock mash-up.

Heinz tomato soup with a toasted cheese sandwich is absolutely lush.
I won’t be able to stop thinking about that now ?
We’ve had a lot of soup related stuff recently…

I've just had a two week long bout of covid and have lived on Heinz tomato soup and cheese sandwiches. Food of the gods!

Think you’ve got that wrong.

The Police rescued him from the grounds of the Chinese Consulate. Men had emerged from the Consulate nd dragged him in to assault him there.

I suppose they thought nobody would be able to come into Chinese grounds.

I await a protest by the Chinese eEmbassy for violating Consulate rules. Perhaps it’s already on the Home Secretary’s desk.

I was a working class kid who loved the planet. I worked part time in Woolworths and in a pub in the evening to get through college but I also went on marches, did leaflet drops, collected signatures for petitions and protested for CND, Compassion in World Farming and other causes dear to my heart.

The two aren't mutually exclusive.
