I was prepared to give Sunak chance and was cheered by thr booting out of JRM. But Braverman........vile law breaking racist. So, business as usual then.

Zahawi - Still under investigation by HMRC, matter still " unresolved"
Braverman - still guilty of breaking ministerial code, still dreaming of Rwanda.
Raab - Nicknamed "the turnip" in Brussels, didn't understand the importance of the Dover/Calais crossing.
Shapps - Ran several "dodgy/scam" internet business's under several different pseudonyms [ Michael Green, Corinne Stockheath and Sabastion Fox . Blacklisted by google. Had second job whilst Mp and lied about it until forced to come clean by constituent Dean Archer.
Hunt - Brought the NHS to it's knees, even wrote a book on it. Despised by over 1.5 million overworked and underpaid NHS staff.
Looking like the Tory front bench is " business as usual" then.sad

Zahawi. After the fool he made of himself over Johnson! Not Braverman? Well that shows what Rishi thinks about Rwanda then given her ‘vision’. Anything for Sharma and Tugendhat?

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has congratulated Rishi Sunak on becoming prime minister.

But she added that the EU-UK relationship must be in “full respect of our agreements” - likely in part a reference to the ongoing dispute on the Northern Ireland Protocol.

US President Joe Biden tweeted: "Together, I look forward to enhancing our co-operation on issues critical to global security and prosperity, including continuing our strong support for Ukraine."

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau also sent well wishes, and described Canada's partnership with the UK as “one of the strongest relationships between any two countries in the world”.

He said he looks forward to working with Sunak to address ongoing global concerns, including Russia’s war on Ukraine, economic uncertainty, and climate change.

I wonder if, on meeting the King, he thought , well I am richer than the King!

Perhaps he expected the king to bow to him ?

What I do think, is however, that Sunak has integrity, and I would expect him to be intolerant of corruption, and all the deviances the Tories seem so interested in.

Well, If you think getting away with paying £56million in tax, by claiming non-dom status and lying about partygate, describes "integrity" we must have very different interpretations of the word.

I thought that was his wife? ?
Oh, I forgot, they are his chattels since she married him.

Partygate- was it true or not? ?

French President Emmanuel Macron has tweeted his congratulations to Rishi Sunak.

"Together we will continue working to tackle the challenges of the moment, including the war in Ukraine and its many consequences for Europe and the world"

Can’t put the news on ( looking after grandchildren). Please keep me up to speed….

Nothing so far. Apparently doors to the defence building were open, which is where the new cabinet members walk from to No 10 has now been closed - so punters wondering whether Sunak is having difficulties with his appointments. Probably nothing in it.

Oh yes ?. My brain is foggy today - reaction to flu jab. I’d completely forgotten that - you are right.

I withdraw that thought.
