Is Suella Braverman your new hate figure now Boris has gone par for the course I suppose with Labour they have no policies only hate.

Apparently Braverman was a subject of MI5 investigation last January, relating to Cyber Security.

She will have to resign.

I think there’s evidence of attention deficit syndrome in Parliament at the moment. There are so many more important issues to debate than the reappointment of the Home Secretary! Yvette Cooper does outrage so well but I wish parliamentarians could all join together to address the very serious economic and social issues facing the country. Save urgent questions for the urgent……

Just seen the governments actions described as

The Carousel of Chaos

How apt, and excellent description.

Sunak will be doing his first u turn quite soon and my bet is that Braverman will be it.

Yes, I can’t see how she can remain as Home Secretary.

What she did was illegal and certainly a sackable offence.

Maybe Sunak appointed her from political necessity and "united front" but if she goes on like this, she may not be easily sacked, but a guessing there could be a "reshuffle".

This government has started the same way the last one ended. What a waste of parliament's time to schedule the urgent question and then allow Braverman to duck out. Even her own mp's were confused, they were heard saying " she will be here in a minute" They obviously didn't realise she was already being whisked away in her ministerial car.
So much for Sunak's fine speech about his government's "integrity, honesty and responsibilty."
Fallen at the first fence.angry

especially as;

Suella Braverman was embroiled in probe over leak that raised 'concerns' at MI5

Agree Normandygirl. There’s more to this than meets the eye. Even when Keir Starmer called it a ‘grubby deal’ at PMQs, Sunak didn’t really challenge the claim.

Suella Braverman scuttling out of the commons today to avoid scrutiny is a clear indication that nothing has changed with the Tories. The question from Yvette Cooper was tabled in plenty of time so she has no excuses. The fact that she walked out in full view of the speaker doesn't enhance his reputation either.
