That's very true Urms. Whenever I have prised myself off the couch to join a protest, I have felt better for it.
It is also a way to inform yourself about what others are thinking and saying so you feel empowered even if it's just to have an opinion.

Brilliant news that, at last, people will be out on the streets protesting, but WHY ONLY IN LONDON! Many of us will find it impossible to get there. Protest marches should be happening in every town around the country. COME ON PEOPLE!!!

Apparently there's going to be a protest march on 5 Nov. I know that there have been protests in other European countries. Seems to be backed by the unions. Not heard about the People's Assembly before thepeoplesassembly.org.uk/
