I think it sometimes bothers people who don't live in Scotland because they've grown up with the idea that although Scotland has a character of its own (much admired across the world), for everyone alive today in Enlgand, Scotland is not a separate country. It's like another Yorkshire
. (Quick ducking movement here!). It's part of the wonder that is Great Britain
That's rather a sweeping statement, Baggs and I don't think it's true.
However, I may be biased as I live in Wales, but I am English.
I can understand and recognise the differences and between the different countries of the United Kingdom.
As for Yorkshire, well apparently that is God's Own Country.
And, for all those mentioning whisky, Welsh whisky is very good 🥃🙂
