I find it really pathetic that H & M are desperate enough to use the RF, and their titles as a way to get money and attention, and hope that H's aware that blood alone doesn't entitle anyone to a relationship or unlimited forgiveness.

I was going to include unlimited financial support but suspect that that is at least something H has been made aware of.

I am floored that anyone can think that defending Thomas Markle is a decent thing to do. Who really believes anyone with a shred of morality would sell private letters their child sent to them to the press? What kind of human being justifies or defends that? I would forever cut ties with my parents for doing something so evil. The comments defending this vile, user, extortionist of a man make me sorry for the children of people who think what he did was ok. Toxic, toxic, toxic.

And the so-called half siblings who haven’t ever had a real relationship with her also profiteering and fame-chasing are equally low. Completely indecent people. Some people have weird ideas of what family is. Blood alone does not entitle anyone to a relationship, nor unlimited forgiveness. For those who do not understand that, I have pity. Such a person is likely to mistreat and betray their own family and then wonder why your relatives cut you off. Thomas Markle and his other children are toxic leeches and I find it really pathetic that they are desperate enough to use her as a way to get money and attention.

I wasn't being negative with Volver. I actually think much the same as Volver on this thread. That's why I commented with the irony you obviously didn't recognise on this occasion. Sorry I didn't have time to write more yesterday but I was having a hectic time.

Not a fan, or even remotely interested in H & M, but I can't help thinking that no-one so heavily targeted by the Daily Mail hate machine cannot be all bad.

Fleurpepper TW is a far more socially diverse town than you might think on a quick visit. There are some very wealthy areas and there are certainly plenty of senior civil servants, hospital consultants, people who work in the City in the demographic.
Would be interested in what you think the "certain mindset" would be. Voting Remain and getting rid of the Tory controlled Council perhaps?

A 'joke' - but I do think in this instance, it is pretty accurate of a certain mindset. I was there a couple of weeks ago, and we both laughed that the stereotype seemed, well, quite appropriate.

No I have not read ANY of them. I do buy the DM from time to time to see just how awful it is (it is!) - but have not done since the H&M Netflix, which I have not watched. But I trust the source.

I think it's pretty accurate. We fall for it all of the time.

They feed us stories and block others. They don't want us to focus on Tory corruption and theft, because the Tories are their favoured political party (due to the nepotism between them). They want us hating a couple of insignificant individuals who live on the other side of the world.

Meghan's father currently has a restraining order against him for threatening to kill a journalist.

He sold stories to the tabloids. (All of her other friends and family chose not to, even though they were offered large sums of money.)

He has said on interviews that he was going to continue to harass her through the press until she talked to him.

Samantha did not raise her own children (though says she raised Meghan). She has no contact with her children now because of her actions.

But hey, because the bible tells us, we should honor our mother & father, so that makes all this behavior excusable and Meghan and Harry are horrible people for keeping the grandkids away.

Right. I’ve watched episode 1. I’m obviously either dim or brainwashed because I didn’t feel angry, disgusted, outraged when it finished.
I do feel amazed that so many posters do feel all those negatives and more towards H n M. Quoting the Old Testament as ‘proof’ this couple deserve all manner of hideous treatment reaches new depths.
I’m not anti the RF or H n M. I’m always intrigued by family conflict. And sympathetic to all of us who experience it
