She did answer the questions. She just didn't give the answer that was required.The answer, incidentally, to a question that wasn't asked.

That's just silly. Small talk often includes what you do and where you come from.

I'm going to take another stance here after reading the transcript and watching T.V. Why did the coloured lady who was born in England and is 61 feel she had to dress like the people of the country where her parents were from. Provocative? making a point? We are all taking her side but did she not realise that dressing the way she did brings questions?
I know freedom of dress, freedom of speech and I agree with them but surely a well-chosen outfit to catch attention.

It is also very odd to be derogatory and accusatory about how others express empathy and emotional intelligence. We are not all the same.

I like to learn. I don't want to hurt people's feelings because I don't understand how they would interpret what I say. I see language as a tool.

I do not like to be "told" how to behave and talk by people who seem to think they know everything and are always right. I also believe we all have to learn to be resilient against the slings and arrows of modern life. That is all of us, not just the those selected by a minority as unworthy.

If the Prince of Wales and the Palace say it is racist and unacceptable then that is good enough for me.

The Royals have never apologised for or addressed their historical involvement with the slave trade, and how they benefit from it still today. It is essential that they do.

William and Katherine are getting booed in the US. Shades of their Caribbean tour spring to mind.

Despite the dislike in the UK of Meghan and Harry, other parts of the world have different viewpoints about our royal family. And they're not always positive.

And people wonder why MM & H moved to the US? They aren't reviled there.

I would prefer the option of the 2 people meeting to discuss the problem, and with an apology. Resigning feels like being 'shut up' which does not address the problem.

Ms.Fulani said she was invited to Buckingham Palace to discuss the conversation so far she has declined

I think I made that clear Volver. It is being said by others and Aveline might well have seen that. As yet we do not know if it is true or not.

It's probably not true because nobody has heard any recording, and it has only been brought up now that we are in the "Blame Fulani" stage of the debate.

Many people saying it doesn't make it true.

So, still waiting for evidence. Happy to accept any you've got or Aveline's got, then I'll change my mind. If you've got any.

Ms Fulani is obviously proud of her Afro/Caribbean routes and rightly so which is why she dressed in traditional Afro/Caribbean style

When Lady Hussey asked her where are you from Ms. Fulani could have had an interesting conversation regarding her ancestors origin which in turn could have led to a conversation promoting the charity she was there to represent, @sistaspace a domestic violence charity for Afro/Caribbean women.

Instead we are in an increasingly unpleasant situation.
