I think you should take a look at all the vile coverage Catherine had when it became public knowledge she was dating Prince William.

Look at how the press set Sarah and Diana against each other.

Nothing to do with their skin colour, just that gossip whether true or fabricated sells tabloids.

What Harry and Meghan can't or won't understand is that at the beginning, everyone was thrilled for them. What changed the opinions (mine included) was their behaviour afterwards. The final straw was trashing their family (and the British people) on the world stage. They could have had a spectacular life and really made a difference, but they chose not to compromise.

The King is a Constitutional Monarch, our Head of State. This is in fact a threat to our way of life, our laws, our Parliamentary system.

It’s probably because it’s our Royal Family being trashed repeatedly and many people don’t like it. Initially, I couldn’t understand all the hatred towards them and felt they had every right to leave and forge a new life for themselves but with all the bleating and backstabbing I’ve changed my mind. I wish they could live their new life without selling out Harry’s family, but that’s where the interest in them stems from. Without the Royal connection there’s no real interest and seeing as they have very little Royal connection now they trade on past grievances with the family. It’s pretty shabby by anyone’s standards.

Without the interest, the news and editorials on and about this couple would dry up. So many profess that they are "not interested" and "couldn't care less" about what these two do... yet the interest is coming from somewhere...

Yes, one day Meghan might draw attention to racist behaviour in the Palace and nobody will believe her.

What a pathetic pair they are! I think they over-estimate the public interest in them. I don't know what they are hoping to achieve by all this, but they are not doing themselves any favours at all.
Prince Harry lost sight of who he is a long time ago. I don't know if I'm old-fashioned but all members of the Royal family have a duty to behave with a certain amount of dignity and decorum. The late queen did this beautifully. What a pity her example has not been followed by more of her family.
