Every home should have a mini Bayeux Tapestry Callistemon, I rather think this unfolding story of the discord between the warring Windsor Brothers, aka Willy and Harold might have also been revealed in tapestry form, sometimes words are not enough, now what's the word that rhymes with stitching ????

We'd better start another one, what shall we call it?

I can't help feeling embroidery is far more apt for this ongoing saga rather than tapestry. How about "Stitched up!"

Dredging up these maybe true alligations to me sounds a bit pathetic.
Siblings fight, sometimes physically.
Not appropriate when older but no one was hurt.
All a bit whiny and tit for tat. Wonder if you broke my toy will appear next.

I think Harry has definite mental health issues and Meghan scheming. I hope she never leaves him, as that would definitely IMO tip him over the edge.

There already is another Bayeux tapestry, well it’s not exactly a Bayeux tapestry because it was made in Portsmouth. It depicts D Day in the Second World War, leaving from Portsmouth and the Normandy beaches and so on. It’s in the D Day Museum in Southsea if any of you Gransnetters would like to see it.

So it would seem there’s no reason at all as to why there couldn’t be a third tapestry depicting the famous (or infamous) fight between the two brothers Harold and Willy. Where do you think it would be kept. London or California?

As to whether or not they had a fight, I frankly my dears, couldn’t give a toss.

I think I’d quite like a blue dog, as shown in Joseann’s picture. Are there any cats in the Bayeux tapestry, though? I’m a cat person at heart.

Thinking on dogs, maybe one like Nana in Peter Pan could be used to keep the peace between the warring factions.

I've seen the original but not the 13th panel.

I hope that Harry doesn't return for the Coronation. He should now get on with the life he chose for his wife and children.
I doubt he will be welcomed back into this country again.

I had to share my bed with several others, it was often wet (I’m not saying who the guilty party was). Harry has no idea of what it’s like in many families even today. Many children have no bed at all. These are the reasons I dislike this man child so much. Bleating on and on and making mountains out of molehills. Grow up you selfish pair.

Hear hear Nanatoone. The constant whinging of these two as they live their life of luxury surrounded by beautiful views. Stick them in a high rise flat on the minimum wage for a month and see how they manage. I have no problem with wealthy people, royal or otherwise if they do something useful with their lives and appreciate what they have. But these two seem to do neither and just keep moaning poor me me me. They seem to think the world revolves around them and their delicate feelings. 🙉

He is a damaged young man, as was his father before him and William too. Anyone born into such a dysfunctional family would be. No amount of riches can wash that away. I feel sorry for the lot of them. And yes - I also feel sorry for those in poverty. But that does not stop me recognising the toxic effects of an unstable upbringing on anyone - rich or poor.

When something or someone is damaged it's/their value, usefulness or normal function is impaired. I don't see that in Charles or William, but it's clearly there in Harry.

If Harry's present state of mind is due to the toxic effects of an unstable upbringing and he sees that as the cause, then for the sake of his own children instead of playing the victim on the world stage, he should seek professional help.

Playing the victim on the world stage is never going to achieve anything except ridicule and it's like watching a car crash in slow motion.

They all have problems because they are all human, like we are. Money does not insulate you from MH issues, but it gives a better standard of living while you navigate them- also a therapist on call, which is a luxury many of us might like.

To be helped you have to want to change. When my ES was sectioned he was discharged early because they could not get him to a treatment plan. He did not want help, he wanted attention.

There are many to whom this applies. Change involves commitment, effort, work- but staying the same old "poor me" is easy. If you want, you can always find a new audience. My ES has and so has Harry. It's very sad, but there are choices and consequences to everything.

Dysfunctional family, unfaithful father, traumatic death of mother plus invasive (and frankly barely legal) attention by the media. It should not be a surprise that he is damaged.
