Welll! It reads like a Mills & Boon.

nanna8 Thu 05-Jan-23 06:53:38

So ? How do we know it is true anyway?

Sparklefizz Thu 05-Jan-23 06:54:33

Harry then accused his brother of acting like an heir, unable to understand why his younger brother was not content to be a spare.

Honestly!

BigBertha1 Thu 05-Jan-23 07:00:06

Mill's and Boon

So the fight resulted in his ‘necklace being ripped’, think that’s what it said.

Pearls, I assume.

‘Ripped’, not ‘clutched’.

If Harry wants his father and brother back he needs to stop airing his dirty laundry in public and have private conversations with his family.

maddyone Thu 05-Jan-23 07:28:27

I agree Kalu. Silence is golden, or so it’s said. Assuming this incident occurred, telling the whole world about it isn’t going to build any bridges with his brother. Least said, soonest mended would have probably have been more appropriate if Harry genuinely wants his brother back.

Ooh it's just like Eastenders. Am so shallow grin

I am really uncertain what Harry is hoping to achieve by these revelations, when he is also saying that he wants his father and brother back. Whereas physical violence is abhorrent, he, a former British officer who has seen action in Afghanistan, has twice admitted on tv that he was frightened of his brother. Once when William ‘screamed’ in the presence of her late majesty and his father, who seemingly did nothing about it. If it was that bad, surely someone would have stepped in. Now he describes taking refuge in the kitchen, his necklace broken being pushed before falling into the dog’s bowl. I do think that he is demonstrating the ongoing fragility of his mental health, indicating that he needs more help that he is currently getting. Let us hope that for his own peace of mind he gets help soon.

At the funeral of the DoE, Charles said to his sons, ‘Please boys, don’t make my final years a misery’, Harry recounts

Poor Charles. He hasn’t had an easy ride in many respects

Harry and William’s names for each other are Willy and Harold.
That’s quite sweet

I feel sorry for everyone at the moment

Forsythia Thu 05-Jan-23 07:36:43

It’s a shame his necklace was broken when he injured himself falling onto plastic dog bowls shown in his recent Netflix series. Seriously, he tells so many lies he forgets what he has said.

Daisymae Thu 05-Jan-23 07:36:45

Apparently it's also Will and Kate's fault that the wore 'that' uniform to the fancy dress. No recognition anywhere that he had a touch of responsibility for his actions. I wonder what Will's truth of the incident may be?

That’s exactly how I used to feel.
But now I really pity the whole lot of them.
It’s showing what a fragile and preposterous set up the RF is.

william said 'meghan was rude difficult and abrasive'

THe Guardian was able to get a copy of the book despite stringent measures.

Casdon Thu 05-Jan-23 07:43:51

Somebody is going to be in big trouble for sending this information to one media outlet before all the others, surely? I thought it was being stage managed for one big splash across all media.

Wonder if Kate held Will’s coat and yelled ‘Leave him Babe he ain’t worth it’! grin

FannyCornforth Thu 05-Jan-23 07:45:51

Lemsip and Casdon, it was The Guardian’s New York correspondent who got hold of a copy in the States

Yes, I saw that - but somebody must have leaked it?

Not necessarily, a back-hander to a book seller or similar?
I presumed it was just good old fashioned journalism, Casdon sniffing stuff out, contacts etc

Sparklefizz Thu 05-Jan-23 07:50:49

Love it oreo !!

Curlywhirly Thu 05-Jan-23 07:51:27

Oh no, not the necklace! This is getting more ridiculous by the minute.

Grandma70s Thu 05-Jan-23 07:55:09

It seems very strange that Harry wants to tell the world details of his arguments with his brother. Do we care? It will make him money, I suppose.
