I haven't looked at the pages. I can't stand Facebook. I am a great believer in 'believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.' Personally, I wouldn't believe any of the nonsense printed but I wouldn't call those who choose to gullible. Just a different point of view.

If you say something is created by person X, and its not, that is not a "different point of view".

Volver I found it on U Tube posted by Royal Daily News. I looked up the latter. They seem to be anti M but had a UTube that London is on security alert because of unrest caused by Harry’s book. They show pictures of armed police and police holding back protestors which I seem to remember from X-RAY and Just stop oil.

Sorry Kate! You are thinking of the days before Volver and her echo took over. The days when people were interested in other people’s opinions and honest debate.

With the current bullying hectoring tone, presumably agreeable to the administration, it’s easier to not get involved with their opinionated rants.

I feel sorry for them as they seem to be very bitter and unhappy but obviously prefer to be miserable.

If you can't see that the pages being touted as proof are spurious, then yes. Superiority.

Indeed Kate much better to have a discussion that doesn't entail insults and as you say We're all entitled to believe what we choose to believe and question the unsubstantiated claims made by others which is what I'm doing.

We can choose to believe what we want. You can believe that the moon is made of green cheese if you want.

However these pages are being cited as evidence that something happened, and that they are being published by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Which is not true.

The content of these pages is being used to bolster up peoples ideas of what the Sussexes are like. I call it gullible.

Now it doesn't actually matter what the Sussexes are like. But what if people believe daft things like this about something that is important - like our membership of the EU for instance. Or immigration. Or how a political party behaves.

Then I will despair (good GN word) at the gullibility and inability to discern fact from fiction in the general public.

The page you linked to says the bruises were photographed in Morocco Smileless2012 so not quite sure what you think it proves. But I do wonder do the Sussexes refer to each other as Meghan and Harry? I always thought she called him "H"

Mills and Boon hahahaha. I remember those from my days as a librarian. I read one once - it took me half an hour. Nothing really bad ever happened - no murders or violent crime. Certainly no rape or assault. Everything turned out fine in the end. What a pity life is not like that!

Sorry are you a make up expert? I've been to quite a few demonstrations of make up to cover scars and facial blemishes. It is professional and specially made make up, but it does cover marks and would cover bruises. There are you-tube videos if you want to look at it, but I wont post a link as they often show women with burns which might upset some people.

I just said they are so called fan pages and there are a lot of them about. The same with the blogs. Some will swear black is white, if we are still allowed to say that expression, but they may not be telling the truth.

We really can't believe FB pages about anyone or anything. Most are just fan pages set up by fans. Or anti fans if there is such a thing.

That group is a private group so one has to join to be able to access it.
