I really think you’re wrong there. His game is playing out pretty well judging by the polls. We need somebody competent, quiet and prepared leading the next government. That’s exactly what is happening now in the Labour Party - preparation. The very last thing Starmer needs to be doing now is showing his cards and banging the table.

Quite frankly Keir Starmer needs to raise his game. There are very serious problems facing this country and is he blissfully unaware of them? If he keeps up this psycho drama , it isn’t a new prime minister we need but an effective opposition! Seriously 😒

I have just read the Open Democracy article, although it doesn’t mention Mr.Sunak, it does mention a treasury department OFSI.

Hard to imagine he was unaware of the legal case.

When I checked the govt. website earlier I noted that the lowest rate charged is 8.5%. I don't recall the higher rates. Wasn't this part of last year's tax increases, supposedly to pay for Health and Social Care?

Someone whose only source of income was £100k salary would pay £27432 income tax (not taking into account NIC).

Of course, there's no NIC paid on dividend income (NIC s were also increased last year, weren't they?)

Someone whose only source of income was £100k salary would pay £27432 income tax (not taking into account NIC).

The additional rate starts on income in excess of £150k.

Some say we have to wait and trust the 'independent' inquiries in those matters.

Most of his children adults now, the four from his 2nd marriage are all over 21. There is one acknowledged illegitimate child born 2009 and one suspected b 2010. Why should they be costing him vast sums?
