Sometimes I am ashamed

He wants an easier time in jail and he wants access to women while he's there.

There's no point trying to look for any sort of normal reason.
The guy is an abusive male and he does things for selfish reasons.
That's all there is to it.

I admit I'm not up to speed on transgender issues, but I have been pondering on and off during the evening...

If a man who has raped a woman (or more than one in this case) later identifies as a woman - what is he actually identifying with? What does he associate with ^womanhood that makes him want to identify with it?

This is not a facetious question - I genuinely don't understand. Because it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I understand individuals, men and women, not wanting to conform to stereotypes of either sex (I never have wanted to be a stereotypical woman either).

On the way home from work today, I listened to some Scottish woman (presumably female, but who knows in Scotland) who said that every case of where to house a prisoner is considered carefully and we must take into account the safety of the prisoner.
So the stupidity and lack of care for females (prisoners and staff) was already in place before the latest stupidity of GRC was even considered. Wee Nic just enhanced the potential for there to be more events like this rapist, realising his authentic self as a TW, by reducing the criteria for self ID.
