This bill is little or no different to the rest of EUROPE AND JUST BRINGS US INTO LINE WITH THE LIKES OF fINLAND WHO PASSED A SIMILAR ONE ON fEBRUARY 1ST .Adnittedly without all the brouhaha that has happened here .The bill was debated for 6 years and passed by cross party MSP's.This will happen in England whether you approve or not ,the only reason its beng ramped up now is to discredit Ms Sturgeon and the Independence cause.
Lets face it if you sacked every PM who had passed a dodgy bill it would be far more than the 5 we're on since the brexit vote !!Some very reasoned calls on Jeremy Vine today so not all are calling for her head on a platter.

Also given that out of "ALL" trans people, most will never end up in prison so unless we view ALL trans people as theoretical criminals this doesn't apply to them at all

I think the answer is that the person responsible for abuse does not damage the image of all transpeople, VS; but that as long as abusers use the fact that self-id allows male-bodied people into women's spaces people will resist it. People who care about women, at any rate.

There is a discussion now on Jeremy vine (Ch5). it's not particularly deep and meaningful (it is JV, after all) but Lowri Turner is being allowed to say that she has reservations about the Scottish amendment. This would not have happened a year ago. Even six months ago.

Whatever your (generic) feelings on the matter, it has to be a good thing that No Debate has definitely ended. That was spectacularly unhelpful, IMO.
