How sad he seems a lovely man. My SO I died last night. She was a lovely serene sort of lady but had been ill for some time. My husband cried for his brother this morning. Dad household here too. Our condolences and thought for Mr. Drakeford

Apparently both she and her mother were vulnerable shielders during Covid. She must've had an underlying condition.

Mark Drakeford and the family will be reeling. My Mum died suddenly like this. It's terrible for those left behind.

Mark Drakeford is the First Minister of Wales, for those who weren't aware.

Sudden deaths are always a big shock to the family. Mark is my age, within a few weeks, so although I don't know how old Clare was I'm guessing she's around the same, which is awfully young to die like that. Much too young anyway.

Lots of sympathy to Mark, his family and his in-laws.

Also an intimation of mortality. I don't feel old and there are still so many books to be read, films to be seen and places to visit yet.

Isn't it awful? It says they were together 46 years. It was sudden apparently. Poor family.
