So just breaking news that GG has been recalled to prison believing that he has broken some of his conditions
Good, simple as that…. good

Just throw away the keys. Problem solved.

Bridie22 Mon 13-Mar-23 19:16:46

Throw the key away !

I'm sure there must be a deep, dark hole somewhere, we could shove him down that!
He doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as the rest of us.

But footage filmed by another prisoner at his bail hostel emerged this weekend showing Glitter – whose real name is Paul Gadd – using a smartphone and talking about accessing the dark web, which allows users to access illegal and violent content.
Prison didn't succeed in reforming him, did it.

Any re-release is now a matter for the Parole Board.
Let's hope they consider the public good and never let him out again.

Well that didn't take long did it - totally predictable.

Unfortunately there are many more like him, but because they're not well known their activities once out of prison go undetected.

Seedy, back where he shouldn't have left.

Smileless2012 Tue 14-Mar-23 08:30:22

Good news. He should never have been released having only served half of his sentence.

Urmstongran Tue 14-Mar-23 08:32:55

At 78y old he is still a turd.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 14-Mar-23 08:37:00

Let’s hope he doesn’t see freedom again. Vile man.

glammanana Tue 14-Mar-23 09:02:43

Good and good on the person who is reported to have exposed him to the authorities.
Will he have to serve the outstanding 8 years now ? I hope so.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 14-Mar-23 09:11:47

It will be up to the parole board to decide when and if he is released again. I think he’ll have an uphill there. Quite frightening that even at 78 he presents a threat.

Smileless2012 Tue 14-Mar-23 09:46:35

Let's hope the parole board doesn't repeat their mistake.

SparklyGrandma Tue 14-Mar-23 09:54:36

I think they should consider putting something in the water…

Chestnut Tue 14-Mar-23 09:56:20

So now a PCSO called Matthew Shaw aged 38 has been jailed for 14 years after a string of utterly vile sex offences against children. His crimes were even worse than GG's but he won't get the publicity GG has had when he comes out. So just pray he never sees the light of day again.

Let's hope the parole board doesn't repeat their mistake.

How many times have we thought that 😥

Chocolatelovinggran Tue 14-Mar-23 14:51:06

Love it Urmstongran- succinct and accurate!

sodapop Tue 14-Mar-23 21:04:18

Let's hope he ends his days in prison. I didn't realise he was 78.

lyleLyle Tue 14-Mar-23 21:14:55

Awful as it sounds, I really hope someone in prison beats the worthless life straight out of him. I look at him and don’t see a human being. He is sub-human as they come and unworthy of a painless death.

Nightsky2 Tue 14-Mar-23 21:20:33

Back where he belongs.

M0nica Wed 15-Mar-23 17:56:45

I saw a comment from someone official saying he is unlikely to ever be released from prison.

It is incredible that having been in prison for so long and released with so many conditions, he is found flouting a key one, in public, within a week. It does suggest that what ever it is that drives a perversion like this in some men, it is something they cannot control, which means, effectively, life imprisonment is the only way to protect society from them.

SachaMac Wed 15-Mar-23 18:32:55

Sickening, he needs to be kept locked up now, he is totally shameless!!

GrannyGravy13 Wed 15-Mar-23 18:40:33

I hope by him being incarcerated keeps those who he may have prayed on safe.

(I own up to going to one of his Christmas concerts about 28-30 years ago, there were around 40 of us and we all dressed up and had a marvellous evening, he knew how to put on a show )
