So many of the children I have taken to Europe in the past, would have never ever have the opportunity to go abroad with their families. Often the trip of a lifetime, and with exchanges, so often friendships that lasted for decades, life-long.

I can't remember exactly what was being said on this thread, but I just had a lightbulb moment.
MaizieD maybe meant that their passports were asked for by BF and again by passport control border force. So yes, sort of twice, but no, the BF people aren't actually checking you out, just cross referencing your booking details. Well that's how I saw it on Sunday in Ouistreham.

Born entirely out of my watching the Clacton on Sea all Leaver audience on QT last night. Most of them seemed unable to comprehend the damage done by Brexit and that they were lied to.
