Even more revelations about the SNP today

Police have arrested Colin Beattie, treasurer of the SNP today. Peter Murrell is still under police investigation, the unknown provenance of a £110,000 campervan parked up at Nicola Sturgeon's mother in law's driveway and now the treasurer has been arrested. What on earth is going on within the SNP? Are they trying to emulate Boris?

There's a thread asking about what you keep in your fridge.

Posh tonic for Sandra's Gin?🍸

Well it is Selkirk gin.

😂
Posh then!!

£32 for 50cl 😲 it must be special.

I can buy a litre of Bombay Sapphire for £28.50!

Sandras? What a rude, unnecessary and judgemental comment. As bad as the Karen ones.

Not a generic term Nanna8, but a reference to more than one Scottish lady of NS’s acquaintance of that name.

So an 'in' joke then, posted to exclude others on the thread?

If you have ever seen Janey Godley you will know who the “Sandra’s” are!
Does that make it an in-joke? confused

smile

Also the electoral commission are now saying that they knew about the situation with the auditors in February, but Yousaf and others say that they didn't know.

I wish they'd all get on with it.

Anniebach Tue 25-Apr-23 17:10:21

I like that 😀

volver3 Tue 25-Apr-23 17:04:18

Quote of the day...

A reporter asked Beattie if this was the worst thing that's ever happened to him, to which he replied "No. I was in Beirut and got shot at."

Anniebach Tue 25-Apr-23 16:44:27

It was on the news, yes it said he had signed off the accounts

volver3 Tue 25-Apr-23 16:30:58

But he signed off the page of the accounts in 2021(I think ?) that included £86k for vehicles.

What a guddle.

Anniebach Tue 25-Apr-23 16:07:49

£100,000 for a motorhome but the treasurer didn’t know

Callistemon21 Mon 24-Apr-23 20:22:38

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn
🙂

Just trying to explain to nanna8 who was puzzled that it matters not a jot.

Aveline Mon 24-Apr-23 20:21:42

Just how you like it Volver.

volver3 Mon 24-Apr-23 20:19:43

It really got your back up, didn't it?

How kind Maremia We enjoyed a lovely St Georges Day on Sunday and even the sun shone😃
He may have been allowed in if he declared his sword at Customs😁 and kept the dragon on a short lead.
Would St Andrew be allowed in too? Since he was born and raised in Galilee it would be a long trip, but he did enjoy a bit of fishing so Scotland would be a first choice.😄

Maremia Sun 23-Apr-23 16:00:06

Who was talking about Raab C Exit further up the line? Well that's him gone, at last.
Meanwhile, we all wish our English GNs a happy Saint George's Day. For those others who don't know who is Saint George, his father was Palestinian, his mother was born in what is now Israel. He was a Roman soldier, born in Turkey. He never came to England, but if he tried to come over today, would he be allowed in?

Aveline Sun 23-Apr-23 13:09:57

Smart thinking Volver unless the police have taken all the chargers.

volver3 Sun 23-Apr-23 12:58:04

Aveline

What about the burner phones and SIM cards?

Maybe they'll all start beeping at 3pm. That's probably why we're having this test - to find the burner phones.

😏

Callistemon21 Sun 23-Apr-23 12:42:53

hunter?? 😁

hint

Callistemon21 Sun 23-Apr-23 12:42:15

paddyann54

You do all understand that YOUGOV polls aren't exclusive to Scotland ,they are taken UK wide ? That'll change the numbers I'm sure as many still think Scotland is a REGION of England ..that includes some on here !

I get that paddyann and I'm sure posters on here don't think that Scotland is a region of England!
They are quite aware and if by a remote chance they weren't, I'm sure they'll have picked up a hunter two from posts.

It's sometimes encountered overseas, as I am told that Wales is in England, or at least the same thing.

Just thought though...

Unless people are actually in Scotland and understand what's going on, a lot of what happens here will go over their heads, won't it?
