Sunak promised integrity, professionalism, and accountability at every level - how is he doing?

I am definitely not a Tory voter but I think Mr. Sunak is a thoroughly good man. His management seems to be more CEO than political leader but he seems to be getting things done not that I agree with everything but it feels like stability to me.

Back to the nasty party. Well it’s only for a limited time and then it’s anyone’s guess.

No Sunak is not to my taste. He is very right wing, and if his ideas regarding free ports come to fruition, I desperately hope that he leaves the new forest and Dartmoor alone, but I’m not holding my breath.

There are too many worrying trends. He is a free marketer and that holds very badly.

In summary, only diehard Tories think he’s doing well. I’d agree he’s done a better job than Johnson, but that really is damning him with faint praise. If I was feeling kind, I’d say he has been able to put a thin veneer on the horrors that are still being committed by the government on a daily basis.

What is very worrying is this approval of a mediocre PM because he isn't as insane or dishonest as his two predecessors.

He is still economically illiterate and pandering to the hard right of his party. And to the nastier elements of the UK electorate.

I got a bit optimistic when the Northern Ireland deal was sorted out, but that optimism has waned, somewhat.

Well looking at the opposition maybe he is the better bet? Glad not to have to make the decision.

I must be living in a parallel universe where a different Rishi Sunak is in charge.

Early days, so far he has been tough and decisive, wether you like the decisions he has made is another matter, a big improvement after the Johnson era.

It says he is a trier, which is commendable.
It says he isn't afraid to put things right, in a professional manner.
It says he accepts responsibility.
Respect to the man.

Rishi Sunak is the first pm to have ever made me smile. There’s a clip of Sunak asking a group of school children if they wanted to ask him any questions and none were forthcoming. He handled it with humility and humour.

Sunak could be the first really great pm the country chose not to re-elect.

The child care industry is in meltdown with a lot of nurseries closing and it must be the least profitable of all Mrs Sunak’s portfolios. It isn’t a money spinner.

Williamson, Zahawi and Raab were not saved by Sunak at the end of the day. So far so good but a week is a long time in politics.
