Don’t you think, volver, that the MoJ have decided it may not be safe to have judges working beyond 75? Would you like to be up before a judge (no jury) over that age who had the power to destroy your life? Wouldn’t you feel just a tad nervous about their ability to make the right decision? Imagine a panel of appellate court judges in their 80s. Would you be worried? I sure as hell would be.
