As an aside - from the HoC library.
Can I vote in the UK if I have indefinite leave to remain?
Your nationality
You can only register to vote in the UK if you are a British (including English, Scottish, Welsh or from Northern Ireland), Irish or European Union citizen, or a Commonwealth citizen who has leave to enter or remain in the UK or does not require such leave.
So why is the aSunday Telegraph headlining that Labour plans to extend the franchise by giving a vote to 16 year olds - we know that but also suggesting extending the vote to settled EU citizens - when they already have such status?
I can find nothing in Labour’s policy plans about this.
I suppose the lies are drip fed and people unquestionably believe them.
Are you irritating in RL? (light hearted)
I think someone got out of the wrong side of the bed
