No. I would not like to withdraw either statement because they are both correct.

Ed Davey says they can. Keir Starmer isn’t sure. Can women have a penis?

No. I would not like to withdraw either statement because they are both correct.
If your chromosomes are XY, you are male. You can dress as you like (Females have been dressing in men’s apparel for a long time now. How many on GN wear trousers?)
You can call yourself a ‘woman’ and dress as you think a ‘woman’ should dress.
Those ‘TIM/TW’ who have never intended to cause trouble, cheat, fraudulently claim to be female to gain advantage over natal females or gain access to places reserved for natal females
would have been able to go on doing that without question had it not been for the actions of the TIM/TW who do want to use claiming to be a ‘woman’ to do all or any of the actions above.
I have zero interest in what is in anyone else's pants.
That's a much repeated phrase used by trans 'allies' to suggest that biological realists are sex obsessed (where the word 'sex' is an activity rather than a biological reality). That is not the case. I am not 'interested' in other people's genitals either. What I am interested in is protecting women from predatory men who might use their penis as a weapon, and whose male hormones and heterosexuality make them attracted to women sexually. I don't want them in spaces where women and girls are vulnerable, as that violates women's rights, which are so carelessly swept aside by the trans lobby.
And in answer to the question of whether a woman can have a penis, the answer is an emphatic 'No'.

If being 'normal' is being intolerant and have no empathy or understanding, for the suffering of others- then I am more and more glad I often feel like I live in a parallel universe apart from many in my generation, and this especially on GN. I have worked all my life with tolerant and emotionally intelligent people, thank goodness.
Give me kind, generous, caring 'abnormal' people any day, please.
Exactly. Even my bloke, a real curmudgeon doesn't understand the obsession and intolerance. And he's as traditional as they come.
I have zero interest in what is in anyone else's pants.
Change !
Ladykeft , I full agree ! A woman can never ever be a biological man and visa versa. They can be a trans man or a trans women and be treated as such and given the respect they thoroughly deserve. Like you I would fully support and continue to love any one of my children in this situation. However a biological chance - No!

If your friend went into a femail toilet I’m assuming she was presenting as a woman, plus, they would have been using a cubicle. There was nothing to see.
Yes, she was- but she had the reversal and treatment late, aged 55- and her voice, hands and Adam's apple are still quite 'masculine'. She had seen us with those 'friends' so as she was washing hands at hand basin next to our guests, she said hello and asked if they were enjoying the day.
Callistemon, yes I am married to one, my dad was one, and so are many relatives and friends. In her case, her father was an abusive alcoholic, and she wanted to identify with her mother and older sisters. Her grandfather was also a really bad male, and she suffered from violent bullying from boys at school.
There are many kind, gentle men in the world.
Indeed there are, I'm married to one, mother to four and grandmother to another.

Well no, Terri- the women I am talking about have no penis, let alone in a state of arousal. And they are no risk to anyone- and the kindest, gentlest of women. They wanted to be women partly for this reason, because they did not want to be associated with the violence of men, sadly.
That's a very bad reason for undertaking surgery and hormone treatment that is damaging to health.
Especially as those people don't become female or women.
Not a believable reason
There are many kind, gentle men in the world.
I said everyone not trans people
On a basic level I do not differentiate
Where there are differences The Equality Act would be the best place to start

You posted ensuring everyone has their rights respected ....... so are there any trans rights you don't think are being respected VS?
Okay, VS, you said 'rights respected and needs met'.
Which rights and which needs require attention?

The person in your link Glorrianny is a man. He has always been a man because he has the correct chromosomes to denote maleness. He has never been anything other than male since the day he was born. He was unfortunate enough to suffer a serious illness which robbed him of his penis. This happens sometimes eg cancer of the penis or indeed, cancer of the vagina which means a woman has her vagina removed. These people remain male or female as they always were and it is cruel to question their sex. They have not changed sex, they have been ill in their sex organs.
But maddyone you previously said Some sort appendage could be fashioned by a surgeon but it would not be a functioning penis. I think there’s some sort of balloon or similar that can inflate it by pumping but I’m not totally sure. A penis cannot be made by anything other than nature
Would you like to withdraw that?.
Yet I said their rights respected
Which I say on every thread
So what rights aren't being respected VS?
That question gets asked on every single trans thread FarNorth and I can't recall it ever being answered.
I said their rights respected
Fleurpepper I was answering the OP, my answers are all biologically correct.
VioletSky
It is a huge obsession and I struggle to understand it too
Primarily focused on trans women by women
I wish we could make the focus more on inclusivity and ensuring everyone has their rights respected and their needs met, rather than the constant looking for reasons to other a whole minority group
What rights do transwomen need, that they don't already have

If someone with a constructed penis isn't a man what is this person? www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10774253/Man-regrew-penis-ARM-six-years-finally-reattached-correct-place.html
This person is a biological man who has a facsimile penis made from his flesh.
Do you genuinely think the graphics describe a real penis?
We should talk about that stuff more, then there wouldn't be so many women faking for a lifetime
Younger people seem more open
Maybe that explains a lot lol
There is absolutely no way she can be identified as she lives a very long way away. She is very open.

'I never felt the need to tell anyone, not even my mother, that I have a fully orgasmic relationship with my husband, I would have thought that was a private matter.'
yes, in most circumstances, and for our generation. In this case, as I get on really well with my niece, and she gets on really well with her cousins- she was very happy to say that 'everything works' with a wink. She has a GSOH.
