I’m sure I am not the only person who’s read this and been shocked 😳

Thankfully I stopped supporting Oxfam years ago after the Haiti abuse broke. As they probably rely on my generation to volunteer in their shops perhaps this might make some people think again.

I think I'm less worried about the WEF, which for the cost of 30 euros a month I can join, and which seems fairly open about its intentions and its meetings, than I am about The Trilateral Commission which I'd have to be invited to join. An organisation that until recently Keir Starmer was a member of. Quite why he has left (or why he joined in the first place) I don't know, but members are not permitted to discuss or communicate anything said in any of their meetings. This is apparently so people speak freely. Now it is a worrying organisation.

If anyone has withdrawn financial support from Oxfam, be aware that donations through DEC could mean your money would still be funnelled through Oxfam, there is no way to specify an objection. Best to give directly to the Charity of your choice.
